Charlotte Jopling

successfully treats a wide range of conditions using a structural osteopathic approach.

Charlotte Jopling (nee Woolley) qualified in 2007 from the World renowned University College of Osteopathy in London (formerly the British School of Osteopathy) where she gained a place as the sole academic scholar in her year group.

Prior to this, she read Biology at the University of Nottingham and was awarded her Bachelor of Science in 2003.

Charlotte successfully treats a wide range of conditions using a structural osteopathic approach and thoroughly enjoys her job.  She aims to restore function and alleviate pain by diagnosing the source of the problem first then treating accordingly using manual therapy techniques. She is also qualified in dry needling and uses this as an adjunct to treatment when required.

Previously, Charlotte has worked at the Imperial College Health Centre, SW7 and the Basuto Medical Centre, SW6. At both of these practices, she worked alongside GPs, psychologists and complementary therapists. Charlotte is always happy to discuss and work with both conventional medical practitioners and other therapists that may be beneficial to the specific patient.

Charlotte is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and member of the Institute of Osteoapthy (IO).

Charlotte lives in Horsley with her husband and their 3 young children.

Testimonials

I have been going to Charlotte for over ten years now and I don’t know how I ever managed without her. In particular she has helped me resolve two disc problems with complete professionalism, expert care and kindness. I trust her and her wonderful calming manner implicitly and could not recommend her more highly.

I can highly recommend (and have done) Charlotte for any issues relating to muscular or skeletal issues. Her depth of knowledge and holistic approach are the best I’ve ever come across in my sports injury prone career. Quick, efficient and straight to the point, but with the added value of helping me to understand the wider context of my problem and its relation to lifestyle and diet etc.

I have been meaning to email you since last year to say a massive thank you for all of your help. Just to jog your memory I came to see you  as I had been feeling exhausted and ached from head to toe for as long as I could remember. I couldn't sleep or relax. My shoulders dislocated often and I twisted my ankles pretty regularly. I was feeling fed-up and quite depressed and really didn't know what to do. You were the first person in 16 years (or longer!) who had taken me seriously and hadn't implied that it was all in my head!

You explained to me what Hypermobility actually was and that it could possibly account for all of (or most of) my symptoms. You very kindly wrote to my doctor and asked him to refer me to the Hypermobility Clinic at UCH.

Charlotte combines a very technical approach based on detailed knowledge of musculature and bone structure, with a very exact intuition which I think is also a valuable quality in a medical practitioner. Furthermore she is very personable and sensitive and I have enjoyed our appointments.

I’ve been going to Charlotte for years now and I couldn’t be more relieved to have found her and her magic hands. As soon as I walk in the door, she immediately puts me at ease and genuinely cares about how I'm feeling. She has helped me massively with my neck problems and now that I’ve found her, I’ll never go anywhere else.
